Review: Ashampoo Uninstaller 3 Takes A Little Time But Does The Job

box ashampoo uninstaller 3 Review: Ashampoo Uninstaller 3 Takes A Little Time But Does The JobAshampoo Uninstaller 3 is a program that tracks all the files that are loaded on your computer when you install a program.  By default, much of the software you have will already contain the program to uninstall the software if you decide you don’t want it anymore.  Even windows has an uninstaller program you can use.  It is found under Control Panel, and then “Add Remove Programs”.

So if these programs already have uninstallers included with them, why am I talking about Ashampoo Uninstaller 3?  Well, that’s because the uninstaller programs included with software and that comes standard in windows does not do a good job of uninstalling a program.

So what does that mean?

It means that when software is installed it puts little fragments all over your computer and when uninstalled it doesn’t find all those fragments.  Over time this litters your system by leaving trash all over your PC, which in turn slows it down.  Can you imagine throwing little bits of paper all over your carpet in a room and only vacuuming the areas that are heavily traveled?

Sooner or later the build up will affect your ability to walk through the room or do anything productive in that room.  Well the same thing with your PC.  I have first hand experience with this and the result was I had to do a clean install of my entire system.  What a bummer and a task I would rather have avoided.

I had to reformat my hard drive, load the O/S, drivers, software, etc., and while I was at it I took the opportunity to clean out my tower using compressed air.  I could have paid the local computer repair shop $100 to do it and saved myself about 4 hours of my life I will never get back.  But I would have still had to bring it back home and load all of my personal software.  Over the last 2 decades I have learned to do a lot for myself to save a few bucks for when and if I really need to hire a pro.

Okay back to Ashampoo Uninstaller 3.

It was recommended to me by some friends of mine so I decided to give it whiz.  There is a free 30 day trial so I figured I didn’t have anything to loose.  Plus, I had just did a clean reinstall and this was the perfect time to put this on my PC.  Installation was a breeze.

It is supposed to detect the installation of new software and take a picture of your system before and after installation.  That way if you uninstall a program, it knows how to restore the exact condition of your system prior to the installation of that program.  yippee!

But….

Once the detection occurred, Ashampoo took a snapshot of the before picture of my system, and that took quite a while….like a couple of minutes.  Then the installation of the program I was installing popped up so I ran that as I normally would.  (Note***Ashampoo recommends to start any new program installed before going to the next step.  A lot of programs do not finish the installation until the program is actually ran for the first time)

Then here comes the after picture Ashampoo takes…that took an awfully long time too.  That is the one downfall of this program.  It takes a long time to install new software…much longer time that what I am used to.

But you have to look at the big picture because a little time spent monitoring every detail will keep your system in shape and help prevent the slow down of performance on your PC.  Other than this the program works great.  I have tested the uninstall and reinstall of some programs and it worked like a charm.

It has some other maintenance tools included like hard drive defragment, registry cleaner and the ability to manage your system restore points.  I have other software that I use for maintenance, besides I only bought Ashampoo to be an uninstaller and not all that other stuff.  But if you don’t already have those tools, it really can’t hurt to use what they’ve included in their program.

Make Money Online By Just Grabbing the Bull By Its Horns!

So you’re thinking about grabbing the bull by its horns and getting into internet marketing (a.k.a. make money online) thing?

Did you make the decision to quit your day job and rake in the big bucks?  Be honest.  It’s okay to think that way, but you’ve got to plan that way also.

Making money online is a lot of hard work

make money online 200x300 Make money online by just Grabbing the bull by its horns!Huh?  Yep a lot of long hard working hours.  Yeah, Yeah, what about all that I’ve read about making money online and becoming an overnight success?

Well all I can tell you is that if it sounds too good to be true, then it probably is.

Go with your gut instincts and let that guide you.

Listen, there IS success on the internet, just not the easy and fast way that you may have been hearing about.

In addition, its not a free ride either.

Making money online often requires more money than initially believed.

It seems with all the hype, people have forgotten that they are starting a real live business; and all businesses need “seed money” and “grow me” money.

It takes time to build and grow a business before it starts to pay you back for all the time and efforts you put into it.  So you need to keep a little stash away for ongoing business expenses.

If you’re just starting out, you’ve got a lot to learn

You need to turn into a sponge and absorb as much knowledge as you can.  And at the same time you need to filter out irrelevant information and build you a library of sorts of the most important and relevant material.

You should also look closely at the mistakes that others have made and freely write about.

Why should you look at somebody elses mistakes?

Because the trick is to avoid the same mistakes that others have made so you can cut time off of your learning curve.

I’m not saying that you’re not going to make mistakes because that is inevitable.

But what I am saying is that there is no sense in making the same mistakes as others, especially when they are telling you exactly what they are.

And as you go along you’ll make some different mistakes and you should keep note of those and the actions you took to correct it.

You know why?

Because it could be the making of your own special report or software to help people not make the same mistakes as you did.

People will pay for prevention, and the best part about this is that you will have first hand experience with this issue and can offer specific advice.

Another thing to do is to take a deep look at your competition.  Your competition can reveal some holes that you can easily fill.

Don’t be afraid to even buy some products from them to see how well their stuff really is.  Again you may see some glaring holes that can be your goldmine.

Sign up for their newsletter, go to their forums, read all that they have and learn as much as you can.

Remember, this is your business and not some hobby…well at least I am assuming this to be true.

So now  it goes back to the age old adage:

Treat this like as a hobby and you will be rewarded like a hobby; Treat it like a business and you will be handsomely rewarded like a business!

Online Marketing Strategies-Is It Really Cheaper Than Offline Marketing?

The costs of online marketing is sometimes blown out of proportion when you don’t fully understand the costs of the alternative methods of advertising.

One of the biggest concerns with all businesses is keeping expenses to a minimum and maximizing their rate of return.  Brick and mortar businesses know that advertising can be one of the costliest expenses, but is critical to the success of a business.

Yet when compared with the cost of online marketing is often considerably cheaper.

Offline marketing usually consists of the traditional yellow page listings, flyer advertising or the use of mailer value-paks where your ad is buried in with a hundred others competing for the readers attention.

Using these methods indiscriminately nowadays is like throwing out a huge net to the public in hopes that maybe somebody is interested in what you’re selling.

You may get some people to come and browse around in your store, but they still might not purchase from you.

Online Marketing Laser Targets Your Audience

Online Marketing Laser Targets Your Audience It doesn’t matter if you use PPC (pay per click), adwords, SEO (search engine optimization), or even a twist of all of them.  The people that respond will be pre-qualified.

Why?

Because when you are using these types of marketing techniques you are getting traffic from visitors who are interested in what you are selling, and therefore more likely to buy from you.

Another advantage to using these internet marketing techniques is that you can closely monitor the effectiveness of your campaigns.

If something is working out great then you can keep pumping it up.

On the other hand if something is bombing out you can stop it almost instantaneously.

Try that with the traditional forms of advertising.  You won’t know much about your campaign until towards the end so you can’t practice much if any damage control.

In no way am I knocking traditional forms of advertisement because they still work.  But what I am saying is that you don’t have to throw all your eggs in one basket.

If you have a brick and mortar business, you should try to work out something that works both online and offline.

That’s right.  Maximize your profits.

One last thing to remember.  If you have a website, please understand that your website is your online billboard that is capable of making you money 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and 365 days a year.

Absolutely do not miss this golden opportunity to effectively promote your business.
